WHAT IS MISSING?

I have never doubted the absolute inerrant doctrinal truth of the Bible but when I saw that there were differences between revisions, I started to explore that. Most people insist that all versions are translated from the same source and modernized accordingly but that is found not to be the case. I thought that all revisions were the same but when I looked closer, I can see that verses have been being deleted, removed completely even from footnotes, changed or watered down.
God says "In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word was God.(John 1:1). There are repeat warnings that no one should tamper with the words of God, ''that Ye shall put nothing vnto the word which I command you, neither. shall ye take ought there from, that ye may keepe the commandements of the Lord your God which I commande you.'' (Deuteronomy 4:2).
''Euery worde of God is pure: he is a shield to those, that trust in him. Put nothing vnto his wordes, least he reproue thee, and thou be found a lyar.'' (Proverbs 30:5-6) and (Revelation 22:18–19) ''For I protest vnto euery man that heareth the words of the prophecie of this booke, If any man shall adde vnto these things, God shall adde vnto him the plagues, that are written in this booke.''
Deception is one of satan's game, ''Lest Satan should circumuent vs: for we are not ignorant of his enterprises.'' (2 Corinthians 2:11). Oh far have we fallen, will we ever rise up again, who will gather the scattered sheep before the gate closes, forever. Can I even dare to fathom that prophesies are coming true and we are still living nonchalant, unaware as each day passes for ''Heauen and earth shall passe away: but my wordes shall not passe away.'' (Matthew 24:35).
''The wordes of the Lord are pure wordes, as the siluer, tried in a fornace of earth, fined seuen folde. Thou wilt keepe them, O Lord: thou wilt preserue him from this generation for euer.''(Psalms 12:6-7) God promises to preserve His words and I firmly believe that will be so. ''And the burden of the Lord shall yee mention no more: for euery mans worde shall bee his burden: for ye haue peruerted the words of the liuing God, the Lord of hostes our God.''(Jeremiah 23:36).
Perhaps we should search much deeper within the scriptures, for it may speak to our hearts and minds ''These were also more noble men then they which were at Thessalonica, which receiued the woorde with all readinesse, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so. ''(Act 17:11).
“Searche the Scriptures: for in them ye thinke to haue eternall life, and they are they which testifie of me.” (John 5:39), this is because Jesus is warning us in(Matthew 7:15), “Beware of false prophets, which come to you, in sheepes clothing, but inwardly they are rauening wolues.”, ''Sanctifie them with thy trueth: thy word is trueth.'' (John 17:17) and (John 8:32) ''And shall know the trueth, and the trueth shall make you free.''
A quick background about the Geneva Bible 1560, it was thefirst English version to be translated entirely from theoriginal languages of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek lexicons with Calvinist marginal notes and comments used by Pilgrims and Puritans.
Earlier works from William Tyndall have been incorporated, who were among many of those martyred. The tone is set in MiddleEnglish: different idioms/ figure of speech or proverbial expression but none the less accurate and still conveying the same meaning.
''For the worde of God is liuely, and mightie in operation, and sharper than any two edged sword, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding asunder of the soule and the spirit, and of the ioints, and the marow, and is a discerner of the thoughtes, and the intents of the heart.'' (Hebrews 4:12)
All Bibles printed before 1885 had 80 Books, which included the Apocrypha scriptures which in Greek word mean things hidden. Alexander the Great and Persian Empire were mentioned in Apocrypha, and anyone who has studied the Bible for any amount of time knows that God uses the scripture itself, to define terms used in scripture and also there are marginal cross-referencing within the scriptures.
Deity & testifying the Holy Trinity
Geneva John 3:16: ''For God so loued the worlde, that hee hath giuen his onely begotten Sonne, that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life.''
NIV John 3:16: ''For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.''
Begotten translate to Greek word monogenes, has two definitions. One ‘pertaining to being the only one of its kind within a specific relationship. Use in (Hebrews 11:17) Issac was Abraham’s ‘only begotten son’, Abraham had more than one son, but Issac was the only son he had by Sarah and the only son of the covenant. Adam is called the "son of God" in Luke 3:38, there are "sons of God" in Job 1:6 and Christians are called "sons of God" in Phil 2:15, I John 3:2- but Jesus was the "only begotten son.’’

Geneva 1 John 5:7: ''For there are three, which beare recorde in heauen, the Father, the Worde, and the holy Ghost: and these three are one.''
NIV 1 John 5:7: ''For there are three that testify.''
Jehovah's Witness readings says For there are three witness bearers
This is one of the GREATEST verses testifying of the trinity. The Jehovah's Witnesses leave it out. They do not believe in the trinity and they do not believe that Jesus is God.

Geneva Philippians 2:6: ''Who being in ye forme of God, thought it no robberie to be equall with God:''
NIV Philippians 2:6: ''Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped.''
The deity of Jesus means he is equal with God, it's the holy trinity, it cannot be denied.

Geneva 1 Timothy 3:16: ''And without controuersie, great is the mysterie of godlinesse, which is, God is manifested in the flesh, iustified in the Spirit, seene of Angels, preached vnto the Gentiles, beleeued on in the world, and receiued vp in glorie.''
NIV 1 Timothy 3:16: ''Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
Perverts the deity of Jesus, everyone appears in a body. Takes out God and changed it to He, no antecedent in the context.

Geneva Matthew 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.
NIV Matthew 8:2 A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.
More examples in Matthew 15:25, 9:18, 18:26, 20:20, Mark 5:6, 15:19. NIV changed all 'worshipped' to 'knelt'.
Worship definition: Show reverence and adoration for (a deity); honor
Knelt definition: past participle of kneel: (intr) to rest, fall, or support oneself on one's knees
Verse about worship in Geneva Luke 4:7: ''If thou therefore wilt worship mee, they shalbe all thine.''

Geneva John 4:42: ''And they said vnto the woman, Nowe we beleeue, not because of thy saying: for we haue heard him our selues, and knowe that this is in deede that Christ the Sauiour of the world.''
NIV John 4:42: ''They said to the woman, "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Saviour of the world."

Geneva Ephesians 3:9: ''And to make cleare vnto all men what the fellowship of the mysterie is, which from the beginning of the world hath bene hid in God, who hath created all things by Iesus Christ,
NIV Ephesians 3:9: ''and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.''

Geneva 1 Corinthians 15:47:'' The first man is of the earth, earthly: the second man is the Lord from heauen.''
NIV 1 Corinthians 15:47: ''The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.''

Second Coming
Geneva  Revelation 1:11: ''Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, that first and that last: and that which thou seest, write in a booke, and send it vnto the seuen Churches which are in Asia, vnto Ephesus, and vnto Smyrna, and vnto Pergamus, and vnto Thyatira, and vnto Sardis, and vnto Philadelphia, and vnto Laodicea.''
NIV Revelation 1:11 which said : “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna,Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.''

Geneva John 16:16:'' A litle while, and ye shall not see me: and againe a litle while, and ye shall see me: for I goe to the Father.''
NIV John 16:16: ''Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

Blood Atonement
Geneva Colossians 1:14 ’’In whome we haue redemption through his blood, that is, the forgiuenesse of sinnes,''
NIV Colossians 1:14 ''in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.''
Hebrews 9:22 without shedding of BLOOD is no remission.

Virgin Birth
Geneva Luke 2:33: ''And Ioseph and his mother marueiled at those things, which were spoken touching him.''
NIV Luke 2:33: ''The child's father and mother marvelled at what was said about him.''
So it is implying that Joseph is the child's father, which is wrong.

The Lord's Prayer
There are two places where there are the Lord's prayers, both have differences.
Geneva Luke 11:1-4:
''And so it was, that as he was praying in a certaine place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said vnto him, Lord, teache vs to pray, as Iohn also taught his disciples. And he said vnto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father, which art in heauen, halowed be thy Name: Thy kingdome come: Let thy will be done, euen in earth, as it is in heauen: Our dayly bread giue vs for the day: And forgiue vs our sinnes: for euen we forgiue euery man that is indetted to vs: And leade vs not into temptation: but deliuer vs from euill.''
NIV Luke 11:1-4:
''One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples." He said to them, "When you pray, say: " 'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation."

Geneva Matthew 6:9-13
''After this maner therefore pray ye, Our father which art in heauen, halowed be thy name.  Thy Kingdome come.Thy will be done euen in earth, as it is in heauen. Giue vs this day our dayly bread. And forgiue vs our dettes, as we also forgiue our detters. And leade vs not into tentation, but deliuer vs from euill: for thine is the kingdome, and the power, and the glorie for euer. Amen.''
NIV Matthew 6:9-13
"This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.''

Geneva Isaiah 14:12: ''How art thou fallen from heauen, O Lucifersonne of the morning? and cutte downe to the grounde, which didest cast lottes vpon the nations?''
NIV Isaiah 14:12: ''How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!''
Geneva Revelation 22:16: ''I Iesus haue sent mine Angell, to testifie vnto you these things in the Churches: I am the root and the generation of Dauid, and the bright morning starre.''

Salvation
Geneva Luke 4:4: ''But Iesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not liue by bread only, but by euery word of God.''

Geneva 1 Corinthians 6:20:'' For yee are bought for a price: therefore glorifie God in your bodie, and in your spirit: for they are Gods.''
NIV 1 Corinthians 6:20:'' you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.''

Geneva Romans 8:1:'' Now then there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Iesus, which walke not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.''
NIV Romans 8:1:'' Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,''

Geneva 1 Corinthians 5:7: ''Purge out therefore the olde leauen, that ye may be a newe lumpe, as ye are vnleauened: for Christ our Passeouer is sacrificed for vs.''
NIV 1 Corinthians 5:7:''Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.''

Geneva John 6:47: ''Verely, verely I say vnto you, hee that beleeueth in me, hath euerlasting life.
NIV John 6:47: '' Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.

Geneva Luke 9:56: ''For the Sonne of man is not come to destroy mens liues, but to saue them. Then they went to another towne.''
NIV Luke 9:56: ''Then he and his disciples went to another village.''

Geneva Revelation 21:24: ''And the people which are saued, shall walke in the light of it: and the Kings of the earth shall bring their glorie and honour vnto it.''
NIV Revelation 21:24: ''The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.''

Geneva Romans 1:16:'' For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God vnto saluation to euery one that beleeueth, to the Iewe first, and also to the Grecian.''
NIV Romans 1:16: ''For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.''

Geneva Revelation 20:12: ''And I saw the dead, both great and small stand before God: and the bookes were opened, and another booke was opened, which is the booke of life, and the dead were iudged of those thinges, which were written in the bookes, according to their woorkes.''
NIV Revelation 20:12: ''And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.''

Geneva 1 Peter 1:22: ''Hauing purified your soules in obeying the trueth through the spirite, to loue brotherly without faining, loue one another with a pure heart feruently,''
NIV 1 Peter 1:22: ''Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.''

Geneva Lamentations 3:25:'' The Lord is good vnto them, that trust in him, and to the soule that seeketh him.''
NIV Lamentations 3:25:'' The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,to the one who seeks him;''

Repentance
Geneva Matthew 9:13: ''But goe yee and learne what this is, I will haue mercie, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.''
NIV Matthew 9:13: ''But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Fulfilling Prophesy
Geneva Matthew 27:35: ''And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, and did cast lottes, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the Prophet, They deuided my garments among them, and vpon my vesture did cast lottes.''
NIV Matthew 27:35: ''When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.''

Geneva Galatians 3:17: ''And this I say, that the couenant that was confirmed afore of God in respect of Christ, the Lawe which was foure hundreth and thirtie yeeres after, cannot disanull, that it shoulde make the promise of none effect.''
NIV Galatians 3:17: ''What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise.''
God will not 'do away' promises.

Crucifixion
Geneva Galatians 3:1:'' O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the trueth, to whome Iesus Christ before was described in your sight, and among you crucified?
NIV Galatians 3:1:'' You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.''
Jesus was not 'portrayed as crucified' but actually crucified on the cross.

Changed a word's meaning & word's order
Geneva Romans 1:25 Which turned the trueth of God vnto a lie, and worshipped and serued the creature, forsaking the Creator, which is blessed for euer, Amen.
NIV Romans 1:25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Exchanged definition:
1.    Give something and receive something of the same kind in return.
2.    Give or receive one thing in place of another.

Enemies
Geneva Matthew. 5:44: ''But I say vnto you, Loue your enemies: blesse them that curse you: doe good to them that hate you, and pray for them which hurt you, and persecute you,''
NIV Matthew 5:44:''But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,''

Omitted verses from NIV:These are only one of the few examples, there are many more.

Acts 8:37: ''And Philippe said vnto him, If thou beleeuest with all thine heart, thou mayest. Then he answered, and saide, I beleeue that that Iesus Christ is that Sonne of God.''

Jesus referencing to the Apocryphal books, how canonical it is, is still to be discussed
Matthew 9:36 - the people were "like sheep without a shepherd" is same as Judith 11:19 - sheep without a shepherd.
Matthew 11:25 - Jesus' description "Lord of heaven and earth" is the same as Tobit 7:18 - Lord of heaven and earth.
Matthew 12:42 - Jesus refers to the wisdom of Solomon which was recorded and made part of the deuterocanonical books.

John 15:7: ''If ye abide in me, and my wordes abide in you, aske what ye wil, and it shalbe done to you.''
Romans 10:17: ''Then faith is by hearing, and hearing by the worde of God.''
