1 Downtown City Life

The harbour side will never fail to amaze you, take a boat to cross over to some islands for some calm parks and beaches. Once you are in the heart of the city, you will learn that WiFi is golden if you didn’t get a data sim card but thanks to those helpful kind people who tethered their data for me. Mind you, it is a long walk if you choose to walk everywhere which I did and found it was nearly impossible.

Endless underground shopping malls, Toronto has the largest underground shopping complex in the world that spans 29km (18miles) underneath. It is like a hidden underground city, excellent for shopping in all weathers.

Also I did made it to church every Sunday, we have some lovely brothers and sisters here who are ever so kind.

Loved visiting behind the film set and radio broadcast of CBC, I am always fascinated with TV and film sets.

2 Pandemic of Tim Horton

Even at subway station that’s the first thing you noticed once you land at the airport. You can not fathom that this a national addiction? Similar to Starbucks addiction but I don’t know which one is worse. I tried the Ice Capp drink, definitely has a caramel taste and a more milkier consistency.

3 Lucid Transport

Easy transport via outskirt of downtown to surrounding areas, I promise you. GO trains, there you will find the nicest clean toilets, a stark contrast from British rail toilets if I must dare say.

Another thing cinnamon buns aroma erupts in subways so do not walk around hungry here. Subways are the equivalent of underground tube station and are rather easy to navigate around. I say finding the right buses are more of a challenge.

4 CN Tower

Ultimately one of the main tourist attraction, you get a crisp clean 360 look of the whole city. You will be more amazed by how fast the lifts are going at 22km/ h, this would merely impress you more than the view up there, well at least I was very chuffed and wonder why other lifts can’t operate at this finesse. If you ever get lost in the city just walk towards the tower and you find your way again.

The tower can be photographed with all sort of things and to create a unique photo composition with, rather fetching isn’t it.

5 Niagara Falls

The cascading water roaring down the slope, is pretty awe striking. What I didn’t knew was that it was a collection of giant waterfalls. It makes several rainbows per day, there you may find your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, however you can’t go there cause it is too dangerous.

There are some casinos and fun fairs surrounding the area and you can choose to take a boat to be closer to the falls and that’s about as close that you can get. The helicopter rides will take you to a bird eye view of the falls.

6 Eye candies at the Zoo

Ontario Zoo was one of the vouchers included, I like the sleeping capybara, they look like giant guinea pigs. Although they are classified as largest rodent, they are just too cute. This zoo doesn’t impress me as much though. However, I think the animals are well taken care of.

7 Various Liquid Paradise

When I am on holiday what I envision: SUN, BEACH, SEA. Those are the trio!! That’s all I am asking for, my idyllic setting. Permanent relocation to those sort of warm weather is foreseeable.

I had a nice beach fire there and a frolic in the lake, it is all part of the Lake Ontario, where I stayed there was this lake nearby and a nice jog every morning there was possible.

8 You can make new friends

How does it appeal to you, making friends anywhere you go? Well I can’t thank the friendliness of Canadians enough, most if not all of them are extremely polite. Throw a nice beach party with some fire, it is all fun and game.

9 Food fuels our travel

Bacon Peameal Sandwich

From St Joseph Farmer's Market, taste the local delectables, that is what you are here for, exactly. Recreate this image of succulent melting bacon pea meal in your mouth.

Raw Tacos

From St Joseph Farmer's Market too if you enter the lower level, you find raw juices and wraps. Choose ultra healthy, no sugar, not processed food just pure goodness and feel awesome.

Fake Poutine

From some food street vendors, tasted great with the melted cheese and thick gravy. The fries are fried golden and crispy. You will get used to the runniness and try not to make a mess of yourself.

Hot Dog Restaurant Bar

Found a sort of gourmet hot dog bar in Toronto Chinatown, Let's Be Frank. Dogs covered with cheese with side of fries. It was too much to eat, I couldn’t finish it. Always good to take someone with you on holiday to help you finish all the food.

Kombucha & Vegetables Juice

Various cafe shops sells these. Wild & Fresh supermarket is available in downtown whereas it was shut in Bristol. Kombucha are the glorious elixir to invigorate yourself. There is a kombucha bar just outside of Union Station of Ontario.

As you may know I am a serial auditionee, may due to the fact that I like to grasp opportunities. Rather uncalculated in judgement sometimes. But believe me, the challenges that comes with it is enjoyable and the lengthy behind the process is sometimes a surprise.

But if you ever mention golden keywords to me such as audition, casting calls and so on, my eyes will sparkle and I am all ears. Now I am going to divulge you which TV shows are worst to audition for based on my experiences.

1 Big Brother

One of the worst of the worst auditions if you would like to be cattled into a group of around 20 people that have been pre screened to have all the colours of personalities available within a room. You will start to question why you have never seen someone dressed like this in real life. A natural occurrent is that you are all pressured to shine out amongst all the others in hope that you would be selected for the next round and suddenly everyone became not themselves. You are likely to get chosen if say you are a self proclaimed cougar who proclaims her love for younger men or being extremely odd or having an uncontrolled tongue that will cook up very good arguments.

2 Take Me Out

I got a notion that most people who has ever been on any sort of dating shows would regret that decision, well unless they have actually fell in love with some amazing person of their dreams on the show, which is highly unlikely. During the audition, you will pretend as if you are on the show and press a self imagined buzzer in front of you when you agree with the prospect in front of you. Unfortunately, none was of my taste and rather on the side of misfits instead. Well I had other intentions anyway and dating on TV would be not favourable.

3 Skins Season 2

I think Skins counts as more of a TV Drama of certain explicitly. I was attending the casting call to get a speaking role in this TV Drama. All the auditionees were divided in a small group of around 5-8 people and whoever stood out the most among monologues will get a filmed audition with the casting production. Well after I passed that round, I got given a script to learn, it had a lot of swearing and obviously it was very hard for me to speak those inelegant words and as a matter of fact really didn’t believe that I can play the character well.

4 Signed by Katie Price

So I have passed the producer rounds auditions and then was taken to producer rooms in groups, in my group, I was up against 3 blond girls, a brunette girl and a guy. We were encouraged to deliver sob stories where as possible, questioned about our modelling experiences and our honest opinion about Katie Price.

On one task that we had to do, the guy was asked to arrange the girls in order of attractiveness which, he put me as first and then just swapped the brunette with a blond, and that helped producers decide who to put through to the next rounds, so surprisingly only me and the guy got chosen to see the judges but there was a catch as the next round was talking to researchers that would decide a phone call later in the evening to confirm being selected and told to be ready to cat walk in front of hundreds at a mall the next day.

As you can see you, there were really loads of people there. My first catwalk in front of Katie Price and panel was in normal clothes and they will decide whether they want to see you in bikini. The walk ends with a pose to the camera that will project the photo on a large screen for the people to see, rather daunting.

5 Sing Date

Again another dating shows except this one involved singing which I like quite much. The first audition involved singing on Skype to a producer and then you get asked a few questions regarding your dating life. Anyhow, would you even actually expect someone to fall in love with you by singing to them? You will be singing to each other in hope that either one will fall for the trick. I do think some people like the idea of being serenaded with a song or two, quite endearing isn’t it? Well anyway, I noted that I wouldn’t dare to audition for suchlike shows again.

Going up Mount Serrat

Already started being giddy whilst going up, must be something in the air but most likely cause I get to film from a high altitude. We took the aerial tramways to Mount Serrat, GoPro views captured awesome landscapes. Giving up on the mainstream society and becoming a monk, to be able to live up here in the mountain seems suddenly worthwhile. You may however request to join the monastery for their retreat and the only way to contact them is to write them a letter.

On the way from the train quite impressive views already. There are many exists in Barcelona metros, we nearly missed the train coming up because we couldn’t find our friends, otherwise have to wait for the next one which is at some later hours.

Again scams frequent in the metro, we had a lady coming up to us asking for money or phone because she got picked pocked. She had her bag and some plastic bag with her so it was too obvious but we offered to help her by taking her to some metro staff, she refused and continued asking other people.

This mountain seems to have the most interesting rock formation. Those curves reminisce us of Gaudi’s inspiration. And reminds me a bit of Mount Rushmore before the carving and sculpting.

I met quite a lot of people on the way and we added two more people to join us on the rest of our travel. A girl from Korea who can speak Mandarin and a Canadian guy.

Basilica at Montserrat

The black Madonna statues lives here, she is situated the back of the church. There are queues waiting to pray to her or with her or at her. Some people believe that the Holy Grail can be found here. Anyway, I didn’t pray to her, only mildly walked up and filmed other people praying at her.

People are sat in the church waiting for the world famous boy’s choir called L’Escolania to perform. It was quite packed and most people were just standing outside the church trying to hear a sound.

Trekking up the summit of the mount, there are many footpaths that leads to numerous pathways. The sun was beating down on us as we got higher and we then sat on the edge to enjoy the views. If we had more time, would have trekked the whole terrain, the mountain cable car closes at 5pm so if you missed that then you have to stay up there I believe.

Casa Batllo

We were in the Batllo’s room that had open air ventilation and natural lightening in which we thought was genius and wished that our house can be as awesome as this. I think we can learn a thing or two about building eco houses as such, combination of superb functionality and beauty in art.

What hits me upon first sight that the house appears to have a very organic skeletal feature and it is situated quite centrally, proving to be eye catching and with windows this big, peaking in will not be a problem.

This looks somewhat mystical, the colour vibrance is succinct and it looks every part of a tasty lollipop, now that is what an eye candy.

Given a generous amount of colourful mosaics and glasses that doubles as a translucent water surface area is absolutely impressive.

Here are the money shots, look at this juxtaposition of colours thrown together and what a fancy roof top to have, will entertain all the guests if that was your house. Look a bit reptilian with the roof lining, it is surely a master piece.

The height and depth of the structure of the building is amazing. The twist and turns of this organic shaped building is awe striking, by the time you are on the roof top, you are already tired from the endless meandering.

Spanish Antique Market

You can buy anything bric a brac here at the antique and flea market here. I bought a Mona Lisa painting that looks just like the real thing, except it is a tad smaller. Perhaps some gems can be found amongst the rubble but that doesn’t seem easy. A lot of fancy vintage items can be found if you look at it more than once
